To tie in with the 50th Anniversary of the studio glass movement and the opening of London’s new Halcyon Gallery on New Bond Street Dale Chihuly has recently opened a monumental exhibition. Citing London as one of his two favourite cities the other one being strangely Venice! This is a must see exhibition with Dale displaying work covering most of his back catalogue over the last forty years with fine examples from his Maccia, Venetian series, sea forms and a selection of his wonderous chandeliers.
Here are a couple of images taken from this exhibition which frankly do not do the work justice. The exhibition runs from until 31st March 2012 and should be given a good couple of hours.
